Keilor Park Soccer Club has been supporting Female Football since 1997, we are proud of our history in promoting female football for over 25 years. We continue this tradition with celebrating, promoting and hosting events focused on women’s and girls’ football throughout February.
Football Victoria (FV) announced Keilor Park SC winning the $1000 prize for Female Football February, following its incredible contribution to women’s football throughout the month.
“Keilor Park SC went above and beyond during the initiative, dedicating a range of events and activations throughout the month.
Among the highlights, Keilor Park SC held a hugely successful Football Fiesta. This involved the launch of a GO Girls Program, an injury prevention and recovery education session, an exhibition game against Geelong Galaxy, a GO Soccer Mums program, a ‘Little Eagles’ discovery program aimed at introducing young girls to football, a female gala day, and a community engagement event at Essendon DFO.”
