Keilor Park’s female program has been around since 1998 and it is our mission to develop and strengthen the program in the years to come so we can provide a fun, inclusive and competitive environment for as many females as we can. Our priority is to deliver equal female participation in line with FV’s strategy by 2025 and to to ensure that all females are celebrated by creating pathways for them to participate in the sport we love.
We wish to offer a safe place for development, challenge our players to better their skills and allow them to grow their love for the sport from the Little Eagles age all the way into Senior footballers.
The great initiatives we are implementing from 2022 onwards for our female program are:
Dedicated Female Technical Director who will oversee the entire female program Female Ambassador/Wellbeing officer to be a point of contact for all females at the club Mentoring programs between our Junior and Seniors players Leadership programs including opportunities to learn how to referee and coach Work experience and volunteer opportunities at the club to build valuable skills Revised fee structure for female playersIf you would like to be a part of these exciting times at Keilor Park, register your expression of interest today and we’ll see you at team selection starting tonight!
