🌟 FEMALE FOOTBALL WEEK SPOTLIGHT: MAGGIE LENA 🌟
Our NPL Senior Women’s captain leads with purpose, whether that`s on the pitch, on the sidelines, or across our club community.
Maggie recently spent time with our junior girls, sharing the kind of wisdom and leadership that lifts the next generation. She showed up with purpose, spoke with heart, and left our young players feeling inspired and capable.
With a decade of playing and coaching experience, Maggie is driven by one mission: leave the female game better than she found it. Inspired by her own coaches and family, she understands the influence a coach can have on a young athlete’s life. Maggie values being part of each player’s journey and believes deeply in instilling confidence, hard work, and strong family values.
She’s ever‑present at events, coaches and supports our juniors, helps run sessions, and still finds time to drive the Senior social media program. Every conversation she has with a junior is intentional, encouraging, and genuinely uplifting.
Her advice to young coaches and players: Be the coach you always wished you had.
Well done, Maggie - we think you embody all that Female Football Week celebrates; women who lead, inspire, and elevate the game.

The theme for this year’s Female Football Week is Developing the Next Generation of Women in Football.
At Keilor Park, this more than a catchy phrase, it’s our everyday reality.
From our Little Eagles taking their first touches, to our Miniroos girls learning the game, to our Youth Premier League and Junior squads pushing their limits, all the way through to our Senior Women competing in the NPL; our female program is built to grow, support and elevate every girl who walks through our doors.
We’re proud to offer a complete pathway where players can dream big, develop with purpose, and be surrounded by coaches and role models who genuinely care. Our senior players lead by example, our juniors bring the energy, and together they create a culture where girls feel seen, supported and inspired to chase their football goals.

Nike FC Cup Round 4 Fixture
The Nike FC Cup journey begins.
Our Senior Women enter the 2026 Nike FC Cup in Round 4 as they travel to face Altona City on Wednesday night. Entering at this stage of the competition sets up an exciting first cup match of the season.
The Nike FC Cup stands as Victoria’s premier knockout competition for women’s football, bringing together clubs from across the state in pursuit of silverware and a place in the tournament’s history.

Our iconic purple colors and state-of-the-art facilities make us a standout in the north-west region.
