KIA Australia and Keilor Park SC unite for an exciting opportunity

As a major partner of the 2026 Mens FIFA World Cup, Kia is providing a unique opportunity to selected countries to get upcoming and future football talent to experience the global stage!

In 2025, Kia Australia, a key partner to the Keilor Park Soccer Club, will be hosting the Kia Official Match Ball Carrier (OMBC) Cup on Sunday, September 28, to find a team of 7 players to represent Australia in March 2026, in either the United States of America or Canada, in the inaugral Kia OMBC Cup.

The Kia OMBC Cup is a 5 a-side tournament amongst 10 selected countries played in either the United States of Amercia or Canada in March 2026. The participating teams will be part of a once in a lifetime week-long experience, endorsed by FIFA. Beyond this tournament in March 2026, each player involved in the tournament will also be welcomed back to the 2026 Men’s FIFA World Cup to be a Kia Official Match Ball Carrier in June 2026, delivering the match ball at a selected game in the World Cup in either the US, Canada or Mexico.

On the 28th of September, after the renowned Keilor Cup on its 25th anniversary is complete, 12 pre-selected teams will take part in a round robin elimination.  The winner will be the lucky team to represent Australia in the OMBC tournament. Once the winner is crowned, there will be two to three hours of filming required as part of the ongoing campaign.

Only Keilor Cup 2025 Registered Players are eligible to enter

Only clubs and players registered in the upcoming 2025 Keilor Cup (September), are eligible to take part in this exclusive process.

Each club will have the opportunity to nominate team(s) to enter the official ballot for participation. Please note, only players that are registered in a team to play in the Keilor Cup 2025 will be eligible to participate.

Keilor Park Soccer Club is exciting to enable this opportunity to 2025 Keilor Cup Registered players and cups. Keilor Cup is tuning 25 this year and is recognised as the premium community cup in Victoria.
